Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 14 April 2025  ·  Effective: 14 April 2025

Please read these terms carefully before using our website or registering for any Mossreed programme. By using our website or submitting a registration, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or submitting an enquiry or registration, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or register for our programmes.

3. Nature of Our Services

Mossreed provides adult education programmes on topics related to personal financial literacy and retirement readiness. Our programmes are educational in nature. They do not constitute financial advice, investment advice, legal advice, or any form of regulated professional service.

Nothing provided in our programmes should be interpreted as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial product, or as advice on any specific financial decision. Participants are encouraged to seek advice from appropriately licensed professionals for matters requiring regulated expertise.

Our programmes are available to residents of Malaysia and to individuals attending online from other locations, subject to availability. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability of online sessions or materials.

4. Registration and Enrolment

Programme places are confirmed upon receipt of full payment and written confirmation from Mossreed. Submitting an enquiry form does not constitute a binding enrolment. Enrolment is confirmed only when you receive a written confirmation from us.

We reserve the right to decline enrolment requests at our discretion, including where a programme is fully subscribed or where we determine that the programme may not be suitable for the applicant.

5. Payment Terms

Programme fees are as published on our website and are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Full payment is required to confirm a place in any programme. Payment methods accepted will be communicated at the point of registration.

Cancellation and Refunds

6. Participant Responsibilities

Participants agree to engage with programme sessions and materials respectfully. Group discussions within cohorts are confidential — participants agree not to share the personal circumstances or remarks of other participants outside the programme context.

Participants agree not to record sessions (audio or video) without express prior written consent from Mossreed and all participants in a session.

Participants agree not to use programme materials for commercial purposes or to redistribute content to third parties without written permission from Mossreed.

7. Intellectual Property

All programme materials, workbooks, templates, and website content are the intellectual property of Mossreed unless otherwise stated. Participants are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use materials for their own personal learning purposes during and after their programme.

Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any programme content without our written permission.

8. Disclaimers

Our programmes are provided for educational purposes. We make no representation that programme content constitutes financial, legal, or professional advice of any kind. Decisions made by participants based on programme content are made at their own discretion and risk.

We take reasonable care to ensure programme content is current and accurate. However, regulations, tax rules, and financial frameworks change. We do not warrant that all content is current at any given time, although we review materials annually.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Mossreed's total liability to any participant in connection with any programme or website use shall not exceed the programme fee paid by that participant.

We are not liable for: indirect or consequential loss; loss of income; financial decisions made by participants following programme participation; or technical failures beyond our reasonable control.

10. Termination

Mossreed reserves the right to remove a participant from a programme if their conduct is disruptive, disrespectful, or in breach of these terms. In such cases, no refund will be provided.

Participants may withdraw from a programme at any time subject to the refund terms set out in Section 5.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from or related to these terms shall first be addressed through direct communication between the parties. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

12. General Provisions

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect. Our failure to enforce any part of these terms at any time does not constitute a waiver of those terms. These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between us.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of our website or programmes following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
